Damper Inspections
Damper inspections are required under direction of NFPA 80, and NFPA 105. Fire dampers are under NFPA 80, Smoke under NFPA 105. Other NFPAs include more specifications, and statutes. Check out our statutes and requirements page to learn more.
They are normally required the first year, after construction. This usually allows for the repairs, or deficiencies to be fixed under the cost of the installation company/construction company.
After the initial inspection, each subsequent inspection must be performed every 4 years, unless it is a hospital. In which case, it would be every 6 years.
We Inspect, Repair, Replace, and Change Links. Schedule an inspection with us, and we can inform you of any necessary maintenance, or repairs. Pictures, and reports are supplied afterwards.
